Marvel was founded in 1943. While establishing the quality products you have come to know and expect, we found we had to move to a larger facility in 1975. We chose Melrose Park, Illinois, because it offered a unique setting close to both major airports in the Chicago metropolitan area, and easily accessible to all major expressways. We soon realized other parts of the country offered us a way to expand our product line, and we opened a secondary factory in New Mexico.

We have had a steady growth of product and customer base since 1943. We are still in business today because of our excellent customer service policies set forth by our founder, Mr. Forest G. Niccum and his wife Doris L. Niccum.

Our belief that quality not quantity, was the key to a successful business process and our corporate culture is structured around that single principle.
